After a massive year in 2011 packed with non-stop touring and festival performances, Sydney’s Reggae/Afrobeat sensation “The Strides” are back at the Brass Monkey!

With a calling card of powerfully melodic horns, infectious bass lines, and the easy musings of Reggae master Ras Roni, from Barbados via London, and Fijian MC LTL Gzeus (Little Jesus), The Strides faithfully channel sounds from Bob and Damien Marley to Fela Kuti, Tony Allen and Barrington Levy.
The Strides recent release ‘Reclamation’ received rave reviews and has seen them tour the country, inking a deal with European label Recordkicks.
