Steve Flack’s Guitar Heroes Featuring: Phil Emmanuel, Les Gock (Hush), Dennis Wilson (Kahvas Jute), Brad Carr (Choirboys) and Bill Chambers. The now famous, great roving show, Steve Flack’s Guitar Heroes returns to the Brass Monkey on Fri 17th April 2009, with another fantastic lineup of top Aussie guitarists. Steve Flack has invited Phil Emmanuel, Dennis Wilson (Kahvas Jute), Stuie French (Feral Swing Katz), Brad Carr (Choirboys) and more to participate in the show. This amazing lineup of our best guitarists, will join Steve and his star-studded band (Colin Burgess from Masters Apprentices and The Drum Media’s Michael Smith), for a superb night of classic rock and blues.
The opening act at the Brass Monkey is the inimitable Jill Cotton, and at the Heritage, you will be wooed by the great sounds of Gin House.
Steve Flack’s Guitar Heroes shows provide entertainment that not only salutes the power and versatility of the guitar, provides an intriguing display with great contrasts:
Phil Emmanuel’s unique style needs no introduction!
Dennis Wilson performs English-influenced progressive rock and underground psychedelic hard rock at its most inventive and vibrant. He is a master of free-flowing and expansive musical blending of rock, blues and jazz, with a touch of acid folk. After Kahvas Jute, Dennis spent three years with Chariot, and worked and/or recorded with many prominent Australian acts including Swanee, The Deltoids, Electric Pandas, Jump Back Jack, Screaming Tribesmen and Olivia Newton-John. Dennis also works as a music studio producer.
The Country influence in Stuie French’s playing, up against Brad Carr’s Rock riffs, will provide a most interesting eclectic musical hotpot!
This exciting show will incorporate the launch of Steve Flack’s new full length album Guitar Heroes Volume 2. The performers on the new CD include Bill Chambers, Jake Ladot, Phil Emmanuel, Bob Daisley, Stuie French, Dennis Wilson, Rick Fenn, Michelle Rose, Jim Kelly, and Tina Harrod, with Angry Anderson as guest vocalist.
